Players
The Smartsign player is responsible to play the content you schedule. It can be a software program installed on a computer, an app on an external device, or a built-in chip in a Signage screen, also known as SoC (System on Chip).
Different players offer different support and features, so it’s important to choose one that fits your specific needs.

Installing Smartsign Player
First you will need to install Smartsign Player according to one of the available Player installation guides. This can either mean installing a player application or simply configuring a device with the correct settings.
Make sure you set the correct server address or URL when configuring. When you are done, you have a registration code showing on screen. This is confirmation that you have succeeded in connecting it to the server.
Player settings
In the Advanced tab, you’ll find information and descriptions of the available player settings and features. Please note that available settings may vary depending on the player you are using.
Many of these settings are essential for player functionality and performance. Avoid making changes unless you’re sure of their purpose.
