Active Time
Active time is the default setting that defines when a screen should display scheduled content.
For example, if active time is set to 08:00 – 17:00, the screen will only be available for bookings during that time. Any content scheduled outside these hours will not be shown.
You can configure Active Time on an individual screen or apply the setting to a screen folder to manage multiple screens at once.
Configuration steps
By default, active time is set to Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00. We recommend reviewing and adjusting these settings during site configuration to match your specific needs.
- Go to screens and select tree view for easier overview.
- Select a screen or screen folder you want to configure
and open details.
- In the Active Hours tab, set the default time period during which
the screen should be available for bookings.
For example, setting the time to 00:00 – 00:00 makes the screen available for the entire day.
When you apply Active Time to a screen folder, the settings are automatically inherited by all screens and subfolders within it. However, if a screen or subfolder has individual settings enabled, those screens will not use the folder’s active time.

FAQ
Why should I use Active Time?
Active time let you define when screens are allowed to display content. This ensures consistent control across your setup and allows new screens to automatically inherit the same default schedule.
Can a booking override the active hours?
No. Bookings cannot override active time at this time. If you prefer bookings to control when screens are active, set active time to 00:00–00:00. This makes the screen available all day, and the booking times will determine when content is shown.
