How to access Smartsign Player Config​

If there is no Config shortcut, you can access the configuration by launching the Player and then inputting the following combinations. (APK v10.24+) Using remote: UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT
Using keyboard: 1 2 3 4

How to exit Smartsign Player​

Press BACK to exit the player. On most Androids, Right-Click and Escape are also mapped to BACK. If you exit any other way, the player's built-in watchdog will re-launch the player automatically after a short delay. This is a failsafe to make sure the player is running at all times.

Access the Android shell​

Using the remote, press HOME 1 6 6 8

Change orientation​

  1. Press HOME on the remote control
  2. Select Configuration 2
  3. Select System rotation
  4. Select Portrait or Landscape
  5. Press HOME to exit the menu

Known limitations​

This is due to a limitation in Iiyama's API. Please upgrade to APK 10.24.11 or higher with improved screenshot capabilities.

Please switch to the alternative video player implementation by changing the setting Use ExoPlayer on the player in Smartsign Publisher.
